At the beginning of each academic year, Years 1 - 5 vote for their class representatives on the school council.  In addition, the Head boy and Head girl and their deputies in Year 6 also sit on the school council.  These pupils then consult with their classes about issues in the school and report the outcomes of meetings to their class.  In the past, they have been responsible for judging competition, deciding which pupil-led clubs should run each term and also purchasing additional playground equipment.
