School Office Opening Hours

The school office hours are from 8.30am until 4.00pm, Monday to Friday (except during school holidays, when the office is closed).

The School Day

The school day for pupils starts with a dropping-off time from 8.25am until 8.40am. The children are welcomed at the school gate by a member of the Senior Leadership Team and walk independently to their classrooms ready for registration to take place and for learning to begin.

Morning registration begins at 8.30am and closes at 8.45am.

Learning commences at 8.45am and the morning session finishes at 12.00pm.

Morning break for KS2 pupils is 10.30am until 10.45am.

Lunchtime for all pupils is from 12.00pm until 1.00pm.

Learning commences in the afternoon at 1.00pm.

The end of the school day for EYFS and KS1 pupils is 3.05pm and for KS2 pupils is 3.15pm.

The total hours spent at school in a typical week for EYFS and KS1 pupils is 32 hours and 55 minutes. For KS2 pupils it is 33 hours and 45 minutes.

Before School

West Hill Life provides a Breakfast Club from 7.30am every morning. Places must be booked online in advance and are offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

After School

West Hill Life offers after school child care provision. The after school club finishes at 6.00pm. Places can be booked in advance via the link below.  Further information can be found on their website.
