In Year 3 we are experiencing our first taste of being in Key Stage 2. This means a longer day in the classroom, more responsibility as well as many new concepts to learn.
Year 3 is when some of us take our First Holy Communion - a very important step in our religious life and one that creates special memories and of course, a big celebration.
Our classroom is a great place to be. We enjoy learning about a diverse range of topics over the year. In our Science learning, we find out all about animals, light, forces and rocks. Beginning in Term 2, we will be undertaking our Project Management activities which will include: making Christmas gifts, making stuffed animals and cooking a family meal. Another thing we enjoy is learning our times tables using TTRockstars.
Our music lessons in Year 3 revolve around playing the ukulele. Every class member has their own ukulele to play in the class during our weekly lessons. The ukelele is a fun instrument to learn and we work very hard.
Year 3 is an exciting and challenging year!
