Go through the powerpoint to look at the common 3D shapes and their properties.
There are 2 activities for today.
The ‘Finding 3D shapes’ activity has a few sheets to print. Instead of printing all the sheets, you can cut out the 3D shapes from the 3D shape mat provided and stick each on a piece of paper but you do need to print the other sheets with pictures of various objects from real life to complete the task. If unable to print, your child can write the names of the objects under the shape they are working on.
Please use real life objects as much as possible as this is the best way to investigate the properties of the shapes.
