Living things & their habitats

Scientists have names nearly 2 million species of plants and animals.  To help study them, biologists have devised ways of naming and classifying them according to their similarities and differences.

By the end of this topic, the class will have learnt how to describe how living things are classified into broad groups according to common observable characteristics and based on similarities and differences, including micro-organisms, plants and animals and give reasons for classifying plants and animals based on specific characteristics.
