Forest School Inspired Learning

Forest school sessions give the opportunity to learn and use a variety of skills in an outdoor environment. This includes: making fires to cook; using tools to build structures and models; using natural materials for craft activities; using balance ropes; and many many more! 

Uniform

Wellington boots

Also during Winter months: 2 pairs of socks Hat, Scarf & Gloves Vest or long sleeved t shirt or skins top (or PJ top) and another jumper

More layers, the warmer your child will be, they can always take layers off!

Forest School Leaders

In September Years 1 - 5 vote for their class representatives for Forest School Inspired Learning. 

These pupils then consult with their classes about issues in Forest School and also help to ensure the smooth running of their class' sessions.  This is a new role this year and the children are very excited to be assist their teachers during these action-packed sessions.
